I’m Sadiyah… co-owner and founder of Mesmerizing Mixes. I grew up, and still live in Klerksdorp… definitely a small town girl at heart! I’m a home-school mom to 3 rugrats, who make up the Executive Tasting Committee of Mesmerizing Mixes. The idea for Mesmerizing Mixes was born in 2016, by the quest for convenient, easy, Halaal, baking that tasted like home.
My sister is studying dentistry in Cape Town and she wanted home baking without the hassle of going to buy flour, sugar etc. So I started by making her premix batches of our Triple Choc Delight Muffins and couriering to her. The idea then hatched that I’m sure there would be other people who could also benefit from a product like this… of high quality and great taste, made just as you would at home. And so I spent a good few months experimenting and trying out recipe upon recipe until we had tweaked and perfected the first 10 items in our range. We have now expanded the range to 15 items in the premix range as well our Swirl O’ Choc Hot Chocolate sticks.
